Unique Feature:

Variability – Options for gathering pages together before folding, can select type of feeder, stacker, choose in-line option, and more than 2-fold plates.

Primary Application: Folding and tabbing booklets and inserts in line. Load once and have a finished product.

Primary Application: Paper roll unwind, cut, and fold in one operation. Ideal for use in a commercial print shop or packaging of paper products.

  • Designed for bond, glossy paper, and parchment paper
  • Rate between 800,000 and 2,000,000 per month; depends on sheet size and type of paper

In-line operation – touch paper when you load the roll on the unwinder and when packaging the final product. Can be modified to handle special paper used in packaging paper products.

BAUM K20 Knife Folder

Primary Applications: Operate in line with booklet makers, saddle stitchers, floor model buckle folders, and tabletop folders. Last fold on bulky folds that exceed buckle folder specifications.

Variability and options. At the time of order, you can choose fold orientation to an up fold, change delivery from left to straight, or add right-hand delivery.

Getting a consistent fold from folding by hand. The folded insert is part of the automation line. If the insert fold is off, the insert will not fit into the label feeder, stopping the line. Finding manpower to fold bags by hand.

Variability – feeder includes a canister made to fit the product for ease of loading; especially important with slick stock, knife fold stations, # dependent on folds required, stacker to keep folded piece under control, for ease of the operator to handle after folding.
