For many years, Heidelberg Baumfolder has monitored the effects of its operations on the environment and has taken stewardship of the environment very seriously. During these recent years of increased worldwide environmental awareness, Heidelberg Baumfolder has taken a closer look at preserving and improving the quality of the environment and protecting human health. With the goal of enhanced environmental performance, we achieved certification to ISO 14001: 1996 “Environmental Management Systems” in September 2002.
We at Heidelberg-Baumfolder strive to conduct our operations with minimum impact upon the environment, by the prevention of pollution and compliance to all relevant legislation and regulations. The management of Heidelberg-Baumfolder is dedicated to continual improvement of the Environmental Management System through the optimization of operations and the consideration of waste generation during product development.
