BAUM holds a Level 1 BaumPrint 18 training school
BAUM is holding another level one training school class for the BaumPrint 18 press this week. BAUM provides this in-depth training to all of our authorized BaumPrint 18 Dealers.

BAUM and GMS show new Self Mailer solutions for tabletop folders
BAUM and Gluing Machinery Systems recently showed our latest self mailer solutions for the BAUM 714XLT tabletop folders at the Graphics of the Americas Show in Miami Beach, Florida on February 25,26,27.
The GMS Microglue system was mounted on two BAUM 714XLT tabletop folders to provide complete self-mailer solutions to perform sealed and perforated edge letter folds, “Z” folds, half folds, and double parallel folds. The solutions uses the GMS cold glue system that is adapted to the BAUM 714XLT folders.

BAUM Supports SKILLS USA Ohio Regional Competition
The local regional competition in Graphic Communications was held at the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School in Piqua, Ohio on Saturday March 6th. The competition was held to determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists from the Miami Valley region. The winners from this competition are to compete in the Ohio state competition in late April. BAUM is a long time supporter of SKILLS USA. Mr. Mark Pellman, Director of Sales and Marketing for BAUM, was one of the judges for the event. We extend our congratulations to all the participants and look forward to seeing them continue in their careers in the Graphic Communications industry.

BAUM shows latest Floor Model technology at GOA
The Graphics of the Americas Show was recently held at the Miami Beach Convention Center on February 25,26 and 27. BAUM participated with our latest floor model folding technology showing a unique solutions.
Live demonstrations were performed using the BAUM 15 1st and 2nd station floor model folder. Mark Pellman, Director of Sales and Marketing for BAUM and Carlos Tarazona, the authorized BAUM dealer for Columbia were on hand to answer questions.

Baumfolder has identified the parts that should be replaced each time your folder is rebuilt and this not only saves you money, but it makes sure the rebuild is done right. March could be a great time to rebuild your folder!
To determine if it is the right time for you, ask yourself these questions:
Are you finding it more difficult to set up your folder?
Are you getting more spoilage?
Do you have to run your folder slower to get a quality fold?
If the answer to these questions is YES it probably means you need to have your folder checked over to see if it doesn’t need to be rebuilt

Baumfolder Purchasing visited by Willem Scherpenzeel
The Baumfolder Purchasing Department recently had the head of one of their Preferred Suppliers pay a visit. Willem Scherpenzeel, General Director of Core-TeQ Sdn Bhd in Jahor, Malaysia spent the day on February 19th. Mr. Scherpenzeel usually visits at least once per year to review business conditions and introduce new ideas to improve quality and reduce costs.

We now have available for download the operations manual for our BaumCut 31.5 Cutters. There are 3 operations manuals available, but check your machine serial number first, and then select the correct manual for your specific machine. Use the menu at the left on this site. BAUM holds another BaumPrint18 Level 2 training school
BAUM continues to strive to provide the best quality products and support to our customers. Another example of this is our commitment to dealer training on our products. We have just completed another level two BaumPrint 18 Press Service training program during the week of February 8th. Participants in the class were Marty Kirkpatrick of Buds Graphics of Arkansas, Gary Martin of Best Graphics of Wisconsin, John Fisher of Graphic Equipment Service of Tennessee, and Alpesh Patel of Best Tech Graphics of New Jersey.
BAUM requires all BaumPrint 18 dealers to complete our three level service training program for the new BaumPrint 18 Automated printing press.

Celebrating February Employee Service Anniversaries
Baumfolder is recognizing the service anniversary years of six of our employees this month.
Celebrating twenty two years of service to Baumfolder is Mark Walker. Along with Mark we’d like to recognize Joyce Mumaw with 20 years, Ken Herman and Dwight Trent each with 18 years, Alan VanPelt with 16 years, and finally, Darrel Gallagher who has just completed his 10th year with us.
Our employees are our most valuable asset, and Baumfolder is proud of our workforce, and continues to benefit from the dedication and hard work all our employees give to us each and every day.
