September Parts special now available!
There are certain parts such as rubber tires, sheet detector tabs, pump filters, lube canisters, etc. that need to be replaced on a routine basis. Now is the time to tune-up your BAUM Table-top or Floor Model folder. Get those folders all set for the upcoming seasonal print jobs, get them tuned up and ready to go!
To help you maintain your folder we have tune-up kits configured for most of your BAUM Table-top and Floor model folders. Buying these kits can save you money when you compare them to the price of the individual parts.

Atlanta Trading Services Visits Baum Factory
Atlanta Trading Services headquartered in Marietta, Georgia, recently visited the BAUM factory for sales and technical training on the Baum Print 18 small format automated printing press, and other BAUM post press products. Atlanta Trading Services was recently added as a dealer for the state of Georgia for the BaumPrint 18 press.

BAUM and GMS Show NEW Self-Mailer Solution
BAUM and GMS recently showed the all NEW BAUM 714XLT 8Z self-mailer, folder-gluer at a BAUM dealer sales event held at the BAUM factory in Sidney, OH USA. Tom Devito, President of GMS, represented and demonstrated the folding and gluing solution for the attendees. The new 714XLT 8Z folder can create self-mailers for letter, “Z”, half and double parallel folds in one pass using a compact and affordable solution.

BAUM Shows Numbering and Perforating on BaumPrint 18 Press
Baum recently demonstrated numbering and perforating at our latest BAUM dealer sales meeting held at the factory in Sidney, OH USA. Dealers attending were shown how easy it is to adapt the BaumPrint numbering device and the perforating tooling.

Employee service anniversaries for August recognized
August has always been a month where it seems we have personnel changes. We are recognizing the service anniversary years of eleven of our employees this month. Please join us in congratulating Rhonda Wade for twenty eight years of service to Baumfolder! In addition to Rhonda we’d like to recognize Ulrik Nygaard with 25 years; Todd Wenrick with 18 years; Charlie Zuppardo with 17 years; Ken Bailey, Deb Skelley, and James Withrow all with 16 years; Duane Amerine with 13 years; Beth Winner with 10 years; James Frasure with 3 years; and finally, Mark Stonerock with 1 year.
Baumfolder is proud of our workforce, and the fact that we retain many long-term employees as well as encouraging new workers to grow along with the company.

BAUM Holds Dealer Sales Meeting
BAUM recently held a sales meeting with several BAUM dealers to showcase new products and updated features on existing products. BAUM also included partners at the meeting including Glunz and Jensen to provide live demonstrations on their latest metal plate CTP solutions. GMS was also on hand to demonstrate the new BAUM 714XLT 8Z folder/gluer self-mailer solution. Mr. John Bober of King Commercial Finance made a presentation on the current state of the financing markets and what dealers can do to help the process.

Successful Audit for ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
Baumfolder invited EAGLE to conduct an audit of our ISO 14001 Environmental System, to ensure that we are meeting all the requirements to maintain our certification. We’re pleased to report that after successfully completing the audit EAGLE will recommend that our registration be continued. We are registered to the ISO 14001:2004 standard.
With the full support of our employees we are dedicated to the practice of conducting our operations with minimum impact upon the environment, to prevent pollution and to comply with all relevant legislation and regulations. By following the ISO standards we have a documented and proven management system in place.

Mr. Bob Morton of Best Graphics in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin recently attended BAUM dealer sales training on our latest products. The training included the new BAUM 714XLT 8Z self mailer folder-gluer, new folding and creasing solutions, and a live demonstrations of the BaumPrint 18 Press with numbering and perforating.
